| BIG BASH AND BLAW MAKES £3000 | ||
| The band recently undertook a 12 hour sponsored marathon play to raise funds for uniforms for the 11 new young band members joining the band this summer. Not only did a contingent of the band stay in Ardrishaig for the 12 hours but some played outside the Co-op in Lochgilphead and then played down to the Front Green.
In addition to raising much needed funds for the band the day provided the opportunity for the younger members to practice new tunes to help them be ready for the band trip to Northern Ireland in September. The young members currently play in band polo shirts but are all very excited at the prospect of playing out in uniform in the near future.
